CanStay is here to help! I have expertise in all sorts of mobility aids including walkers, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and scooters. I am a certified ADP authorizer who can assess you for the mobility aid you need, help you determine your eligibility for funding and assist you with applying for funding to help you purchase your mobility device.

Standard or Rollator Walkers
Choosing a walker can be a daunting task for individuals who want to maintain their independence with walking. But with CanStay, the process can be made easy and quick. We can provide you with options to the best walkers on the market so that you can trial and choose the one that meets your preferences and ambulation needs. We will also provide you with hands-on education on how to use your walker safely as well as help you access funding programs, such as the Assistive Device Program (ADP), to make purchasing a walker more affordable. No more falls! Feel safe walking again.

Fee: $90 per visit
Standard, Lightweight, Rigid, or Tilt
Deciding on a wheelchair can be hard especially when they come in many different shapes and sizes. Let CanStay work with you to get you what you need when you need it. An ADP authorized occupational therapist will complete a seating assessment in your home and help you determine which type of wheelchair will best meet your needs and function in the environments you occupy. We will also help you apply for funding through the Assistive Device Program or other funding sources to make purchasing a wheelchair more affordable.

Fee: $115 per visit
Power Wheelchair or Scooter
Do you get tired easily when you propel yourself in your wheelchair? Do you want to improve your independence, safety and endurance with mobilizing yourself around your home and community? If so, a power wheelchair may an option for you. At CanStay, you will learn about different power mobility devices and even get the chance to try them out with careful supervision and assistance. You will receive education and training on how to operate a power wheelchair before you purchase one. Once your therapist determines that you are safe to use one, you will assessed and be provided with assistance applying for government subsidy to purchase a power wheelchair.
